IEEE Region 3 Employment Assistance This web site has been developed to bring together into one location the best sources of career planning, current job openings and information about companies that may be hiring. The site has been organized to promote job searching at both the local and national levels. A key feature of the site is the availability of company contact information. The Company Database Request will provide information that can be used to find potential companies and make that first important contact.
IEEE-USA Resources that are available to benefit U.S. IEEE members who are unemployed or anticipating an involuntary career transition.
Monster.com One of the largest job and resume posting sites. This is a good place to post your resume. Be sure to use the search filters to help you sort through all of the posted jobs.
Hotjobs.com Competes with Monster.com. Once again it is quite large and you will want to be sure to post your resume here. It has some nice features such as filtering job postings by occupation.
Powerezine.com Described by some as the "...the holy grail of human networking for the Tampa area..." this site is Tampa Electric's Small Business News & Resource site. On this page you'll find a varied list of local meeting and notices, from lectures and workshops to club meetings and annual events. Well worth the browse.
TECO Employment If you work in the power generation & transmission business in the Tampa area, then of course you need to check out the TECO page. You never can tell when they might be looking for someone with your set of skills & experience.
