ExCom Mail List

ExCom is short for the Executive Committee. It consists of Officers and Committee Chairs of the section. In order to coordinate section activities, a Private list is maintained specifically for our ExCom members. Only list members can send to the list.

To subscribe

1. Address an e-mail message to

2. Put the following in the body of the message:
subscribe excom-r3-hamptonroads <yourfirstname> <yourlastname>

Make sure you put your first and last name in the place of the <yourfirstname> and <yourlastname> place holders.

A confirmation message will be sent to your email address asking you to confirm your subscription request. You must reply to this message with ok in the body of the message. Leave the subject unchanged. If you do not supply your first and last names in the command line, you may experience problems. LISTSERV may ask you to resend the command if it can not extract your names from your email.

To register an additional address

1. Address an e-mail message to

2. Put the following in the body of the message:
subscribe excom-r3-hamptonroads <yourfirstname> <yourlastname> with nomail

To unsubscribe

1. Address an e-mail message to

2. Put the following in the body of the message:
signoff excom-r3-hamptonroads

Do not include your name or e-mail address in the body of the signoff message.
