About the Open Channel

Are you are organizing or sponsoring a local event of interest to the engineering community? Do you know of one? Let us know! Send your event announcement to William "Bill" LaBelle ( ), for publishing in the next edition(s) of The Open Channel. Additionally, your event will be announced, or a link established, on this web site. The section newsletter reaches about 1600 local IEEE members each month. It is a free resource that you can't ignore.

The Open Channel is published eight times a year about a week prior to our scheduled meetings. Submit copy for publication to our Newsletter editor, Bill LaBelle ( ) by the Friday approximately four weeks prior to each meeting.

To learn more about IEEE public relations, check out the Region 3 PR website.
