Dear IEEE Fellow,

As you may know, I am the webmaster for the IEEE Hampton Roads site at <http://www.ieee.org/hrs>. I have created what I call "The Hall of Fame" listing all our Fellows and Senior Members. I want to do a little more for the Fellows. If you could please provide (or point me to) a few hundred words that describe your achievements I would like to post a short resume on the site. Feel free to include self promoting links to your own web sites, phone numbers to order your latest books or any other commercially oriented messages that relate to your professional supremacy within the IEEE world. If there is a particular key word you want in the meta-data, please let me know too. As an absolute minimum I would like permission to publish you email address, preferably your IEEE alias. All email addresses are disguised using JavaScript which makes them less likely to be harvested by "SPAMbots".

I want this to be a service to you as well as the Section. For you, I have worked to get the site listed with all the local Hampton Roads sites and to make sure if you search for "IEEE Hampton Roads" you get hits on the major search engines. Hopefully this can be viewed by the Fellows as a little free advertising.

For the section, I believe it provides a knowledge of who we are. I know that everyone can not come to the section meetings on a regular basis. By publishing the Hall of Fame I hope provide a resource for more effective section networking. Members who need services in you area of expertise can contact you on a professional basis. Also this helps our members find references for their own application as Senior Member.

Thanks,
Bill Clayton
