The ExCom of the Jamaica Section met on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at the NWC, MIS Department, 2a Manhattan Rd, Kingston 5 to plan and review the activities of the Section. Matters discussed were: Section objectives, ComSoc Jamaica Chapter objectives, Computer Society Jamaica Chapter objectives. Topics for monthly meeting presentations were suggested and plans made for the annual social function.
The annual social function of the Jamaica Section was held on Friday, February 6, 2004 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. All IEEE members in Jamaica were invited to attend the function.
