Orlando Section Membership Development Report - October 28, 2011

The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section grew from 1403 on September 29, 2011, to 1414 on October 28, 2011. 

A comparison with the totals for October 21, 2010 shows significant year-over-year losses in the Orlando Section, particularly among Members and Student Members and a month-over-month loss among Members.  

                

 

Significant month-over-month increases occurred in the following grades:  Graduate Student  Member (9) and Student  Member (7).

From October 2, 2011 through October 21, 2011, 10 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section:  1 Member, 3 Graduate Student Members, and 6 Student Members. Please welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From September 28, 2011 through October 27, 2011, 18 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section:  3 Associate Members, 2 Graduate Student Members, 10 Members, 2 Life Members, and 1 Student Member. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names along with their technical interests and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears in the Orlando Section has stalled at 296, as of October 28, 2011.  

 

The most recent webcast of the IEEE Membership Development Committee was conducted on Saturday, October 15, 2011, based upon September 2011 membership data.  A PDF file of monthly MD report with membership statistics and new features is attached to this report. The next MD webcast is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2011.
