November Technical Meeting

New IEEE Std 1806 "Guide for Location and Placement of Switches & OCP Devices".This guide presents a logical approach for locating switches and protective devices based on the desired result such as Reliability Improvement or Load Retention.   It is presently being developed under the Distribution Subcommittee of IEEE PES. 

This will be a 30-60 minute presentation on the new guide and the material it will contain

 

Locations:

OUC Pershing Facility, 6003 Pershing Ave, Orlando 32822 – located just off SR 436.

Park in the parking Garage. The Engineering Building is on the West side of the Garage. Use the provided telephones to gain access to Garage and Building.

Date and Time: November 17th    Social Hour opens at 5:30 pm, presentation is at 6:30pm

We are trying a new format for this meeting. It is BYOD: Bring Your Own Dinner. 

The chapter will provide soft drinks and deserts, but participants are encouraged to bring the take out of their choice to the meeting.

In addition to having most of the Fast Food chains present in Orlando nearby, there are the restaurants listed below, and many others, near OUC.   (FYI The Boston Market near OUC is currently closed)
