Surge Protection in Low Voltage Circuits

As more sensitive loads enter the office and factory, surge protection in low voltage circuits has become a hot topic. What does a surge protection device need to do in order to protect the load? How do you select the right one? These topics will be covered at our June meeting. The Speaker will be Frank Waterer, a staff engineer with Square D Co.. Mr. Waterer has worked with low voltage surge protective devices from both the application in power distribution equipment and device design perspectives.

7:00 Dinner - 7:30pm Presentation
Location: Colonial Quest, 755 Wade Hampton Blvd.
The cost is $10.00 for members and guests and $5.00 for students.
