Sponsor Information

SoutheastCon is an annual IEEE Region 3 Technical, Professional, and Student Conference established to bring Electrical and Computer Engineering professionals, faculty, and students together to share information through technical sessions, tutorials, and exhibits. It is the most influential outlet in Region 3 for promoting the awareness of technical contributions made by our profession to the advancement of engineering science and society. The conference is typically attended by 300-400 students and 150-200 professionals from the Region 3 area. That region includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Jamaica is included in the region.

We are seeking industry participation in the conference in a number of ways including exhibits, technical paper presentations, tutorials, Job Fair and conference attendance. We are also seeking industry sponsors for various conference events to help defray the conference expenses. A listing of these events along with the amount we are proposing to cover those expenses is given below.

COMPLIMENTARY EXHIBIT SPACE WILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL SPONSORS

Also, sponsors will be listed on our SoutheastCon 2001 Web page (http://www.carol.net/ieee/secon2001/sponsors.htm) with links to the company's home page and they will be listed in the Conference Proceedings.

A Job Fair will be held on Friday to allow those at the conference to make contact and discuss opportunities with respective companies that are exhibiting and/or in attendance. Appropriate banners, signs, or other displays willl be prepared to prominently display the names of the event sponsors at the conference.
