South Carolina Council Report - Fall 2005
The officers for the SC Council for 2005 are:

John Montague Treasurer
Richard Baker Secretary
The council has had a difficult time creating interest in meeting attendance and participation in Council Meetings. The council has used E-conference for half of the meetings with the remainder being on location meetings in Columbia. The next meeting will be in Columbia on October 9, just prior to Sections Congress 2005. The E-conferences have not been attended by the section chairs for the four sections that comprise the council.
The council has encouraged each section chair to attend Sections Congress in Tampa in October.
New officers will be installed in January for a two-year term in accordance with the by-laws of the council.
Goals for the council are:
Revitalize interest in council activities.
Improve Columbia Section interest and programs
Membership development to increase number of members in sections
