The South Carolina Council has only had one e-conference meeting this year, held back in January via e-conference. Discussed during the meeting were the various housekeeping aspects of the council, including reports and non-disclosure forms which require re-newing. The subject of reimbursement for travel to the council meetings was also brought up, and will be investigated at SouthEastCon as to how other councils handle this. The topic of Membership Development was also broached by Lee Stogner, the Membership Development Chair, and great emphasis was placed on how to go about recruiting new members. The officers for the year are on the second year of their two year cycle. The next meeting will take place at SouthEastCon on Friday evening.
