The 2011 I&CPS Technical Conference will held May 1 through May 5, 2011 in the Los Angeles area.

The Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Department (I&CPS) of the IEEE Industry Applications Society, the sponsoring department for many IEEE standards and recommended practices and most notably the IEEE "Color Books", is requesting papers for presentation at the 2011 IEEE Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Technical Conference.

Papers are requested that treat practical application issues in the general areas of industrial and commercial power distribution system design, protection, energy, codes and standards, power quality, maintenance and safety, and related subjects. All papers presented at the conference will be subjected to a thorough peer review & evaluated for subsequent publication in either the IEEE IAS Transactions or IEEE IAS Magazine. Authors must be in attendance to present their papers. All submittals and communications during the review process must be done electronically. A working e-mail address for each lead author is required.

Important dates for authors:

• 1 May 2010 - Submission of Abstracts by Authors for Technical Committee Review
• 1 Sep 2010 - Submission of Final Papers by Authors for Technical Committee Review
• 1 Nov 2010 - Notification of Paper's Acceptance to Authors
• 1 Feb 2010 - Submission of Finished Manuscript to Manuscript Central
