ATTENDING:

OLD BUSINESS
Dick Riddle had three action items from RAB:
VA Council required reports: RAB has not received the L 50 for 2000 and 2001.
ACTION: Sean has the reports. He will sign and send them today.
Richmond Section Signature card for checking account has not been received
showing the Staff Director Financial signature.
ACTION: Sean will follow up with Richmond Section.
2001 Scout Jambroee can not be closed without the information from Ralph Russell.
He has not sent Charles Hickman the financial information on his final report.
ACTION: Sean will follow up with Ralph.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Assignment of officers.
- David Geer has accepted the VA Council Chair role.
- Bill Clayton has accepted the VA Council Secretary role.
- Richmond Section to appoint
a Vice Chair.
- Central Virginia to appoint a Treasurer.
ACTION:
- Sean will contact the Richmond Section about a Vice Chair candidate.
- Grace Giras will ask Larry, Heine, Central VA Treasurer, to serve as Council Treasurer.
2. Council Goals & Objectives for 2003.
- Have at least 2 usages of the electricity demonstrator.
- Hold at least 2 meetings
face-to-face and hold at least 2 e-conf meetings.
- Make sure all VA Council sections
and the council itself files all necessary IEEE
reports on time.
- Revitalize the PACE Network (more information to come).
- Fill all vacant VA Council
positions, including PACE, Education Activities, GOLD, etc.
- Review bylaws and update
as necessary.
NEXT MEETING
Next meeting will be in March, 2003. Dave Geer will send an email with calendar
for the year.
