We took a real hit this summer with both our Chair and Vice Chair getting better jobs and moving out of the Region. We lost one to Region 2 and one to Region 5. I will be filling both the Chair and Treasurer. Brent Phillips will be filling both Vice Chair and Secretary. Bill LaBelle continues to provide a range of support, most vital our Newsletter Editor.

September will be a power society related subject. One of our local experts will be speaking on the new Arc-Flash standards. The meeting will be this Thursday at ODU Kaufman Hall. Anyone who plans to be in the area is invited.

Our October meeting will be joint with the local International Council On Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Chapter. We have not nailed down our November meeting at this time due to a cancellation.
