7 August 2007 - EMBS Student Welcome Picnic
The WFU EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology) Student Club would like to invite all SBES students, faculty, and staff to a picnic to welcome the new students and to kick off the academic year. The picnic will be held in Miller Park on Tuesday, August 7th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Students do not have to be in the EMBS student club to attend and it will be a great way to meet folks around the department.
Burgers, (meat and veggie), hotdogs, snacks, and drinks will be provided.
Please RSVP to Kerry by Friday to let us know if you and your family can join us. When you reply, please include number of people attending and any special dietary needs.
Directions to Miller Park: (very close to Baptist!)
From Baptist Medical Center,
Take Medical Center Blvd. / Queen Street. Away from Hawthorne Road.
Bear left at Queen Street (if you hit the light at Cloverdale you have missed Queen Street)
Miller Park will be on your left after 4 blocks.
