Abstract:

Roy Leventhal will present a review of semiconductor models as applied to simulation of high-speed circuits to design for signal integrity and EMI control. The main modeling focus will be on the IBIS (Input/Output Buffer Information Specification) model. In addition to technical descriptions, the discussion will cover some issues of EDA tools, computational electromagnetics methodologies, model accuracy, design process flow and model availability
