semichigan-officers Email LISTSERV List

The volunteers of IEEE Southeastern Michigan Section maintain an online email list. We use this list to send meeting announcements to Section and Chapter officers and volunteers. Being on the list will keep you informed of planned meetings for the Section. The list supports the activites of the Section in Southeastern Michigan.

The volunteer officers of the Section and Chapters plan and produce the IEEE program. This includes finding interesting topics, securing commitments from speakers, running the logistics of hosting the presentations, producing the Spring and Fall Section Conferences, and administering the Section.

If you are an IEEE member and wish to volunteer, stop by at a technical presentation or any meeting and introduce yourself to one of the officers.

To join the list (also known as "subscribe" to the list), simply visit http://listserv.ieee.org. From there, click on "Subscriber's Corner", then click on "Subscribe" and use the search box to search for the list named "semichigan-officers". Alternatively, you can send an email to the list administrator (email semichigan-officers-request@listserv.ieee.org ).

You can maintain your personal information yourself through the LISTSERV web interface. To maintain your information, visit http://listserv.ieee.org and search for the list name of "semichigan-officers". If you are subscribed, the name will appear in your list of subscribed lists. You may also unsubscribe by sending email with the command "signoff semichigan-officers" to listserv@listserv.ieee.org.

Currently, anyone can send email to the list by emailing the LISTSERV list called "semichigan-officers" (semichigan-officers@ieee.org).

Anyone can send email to the group by using the following "alias" email address: semichigan-officers@ieee.org This alias is really a mailing list using LISTSERV software controlled by IEEE on its computer system file server. < > I am the local Owner of the mailing list; however, as Owner, my control is limited to updates of the group's list of subscribers and changing the welcome text provided upon initial subscribing.
