Baton Rouge Section

The Baton Rouge Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a professional organization of electrical, electronic, and computer engineers in the greater Baton Rouge area. It organizes technical, educational, and scientific meetings providing professional benefits to its members while contributing towards progress in the field.

Monthly Section Meetings are designed for general technical and professional interest, with monthly meetings of the Section Chapters more specific in nature. Our monthly newsletter Direction, detailing upcoming events, special activities and the monthly calendar, is published electronically each month on this website.

Interested IEEE members are invited to become active in the Baton Rouge Section and its Society Chapters. All interested members of the public are welcome to attend Section and Chapter meetings.

For further information about the IEEE Baton Rouge Section, please contact the officers of the Section and Chapters.
