R5 Individual Outstanding Achievement
Award.
Steve Crowl,
the Student Liaison Coordinator of the Central Texas Section, was awarded the
Individual Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2008 Region 5 Meeting in his
home town of Kansas City, MO. Steve
supported 4 Student Branches and their counselors. He coordinated their individual proposals for
Section funding support as well as assisted UT Austin in securing funding of
Gnu software radio kits in 2007. As a
result of his leadership, all four student branches are fully active and
accomplishing the goals of the IEEE.
