Tom Rhyne has been active as a testifying expert witness in patent litigation for over thirty years. He has testified in Federal and State courts over seventy times. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is both a Registered Professional Engineer and a Registered Patent Agent. His academic experience includes teaching EE at both A&M and the University of Texas. His industrial experience includes work for NASA, Texas Instruments, Motorola, and MCC. Tom has introduced a number of other engineers and computer scientists to the practice of expert witnessing, and has also assisted attorneys in finding the best ways to use technical experts when litigating patent cases.
