Topic: Network Neutrality: Altruism or Capitalism
Speaker: Panel Discussion

Abstract:

Net Neutrality concerns network provider's potential to prioritize certain types of traffic, such as Voice Over IP and online gaming, over that from large content providers. Opponents contend this is not in the spirit of the Internet where all services should be managed equally. A panel representing content providers, Internet Service Providers, telecommunications companies, and entrepreneurs will explore the impacts of the two major legislative proposals for Net Neutrality.
