Welcome to our site!

This chapter is part of the IEEE Women in Engineering organization. The focus is to serve the membership through stimulating further involvement with IEEE and providing opportunities for professional development and networking. Please see the Calendar of Past Events for a sampling of the activites sponsored in the recent past.

Participation in meetings is open. Both women and men are encouraged to participate.

  • The Austin branch of the IEEE CenTex Women in Engineering chapter has been active since Fall of 2002. Starting in January 2007, Cheryl Tulkoff is CenTex WIE Chair, Sherry Gillespie is Treasurer, and Vicki Almstrum is Webmaster.
  • The San Antonio branch began to meet during Spring 2006, but ended activities as leaders moved away from the area.
