Build a Model; average hours spent, 40; 
Work from October 24, 2009 to January 16, 2010
Regional competition

Essay, 500 words with 100 word abstract of their city; Average 
hour spent, 8; work from December 5, 2009 to January 22, 2010. 
Essay will be judged separately and given to competition judges 
prior to the competition.

Competition: Oral presentation at the local finals; 
average hours spent, 7; The team must be able to explain 
their city design in a 7 minute presentation and answer 
questions asked by the judges for an additional 8 minutes.
