Schedule - Overall

School/Team Registration Deadline: Oct 31st, 2011
 

Phase I:

Design the City; average hours spent by the team,18; 
Disk and poster printout deadline, December 1, 2011

Phase II:

Build a Model; average hours spent, 40; 
Work from October 15, 2011 to January 20, 2012
Regional competition

Phase III:

Essay, 1000 words with 500 word narrative of their city; Average 
hour spent, 8; work from December 1, 2011 to January 14, 2012.
Essay will be judged separately and given to competition judges
prior to the competition.

Competition:

Competition: Oral presentation at the local finals; 
average hours spent, 7; The team must be able to explain
their city design in a 7 minute presentation and answer
questions asked by the judges for an additional 8 minutes.

NOON    TOP FIVE TEAMS ANNOUNCED

12:15-3:30 PM    PUBLIC DISPLAY
                             Public is invited to visit the Future City Entries

12:45-2:30 PM      Final Round of Judging (Celebrity Judges)
                               Team Presentations, Q/A

2:45-3:00 PM       Welcome Ceremony
