The New Orleans IAS International Automation Society (IAS) Liaison is a person in the New Orleans IAS
Chapter that meets with the New Orleans ISA section and coordinates efforts
with them to promote NOLA IAS activities amongst their
members and to promote ISA activities amongst the
NOLA IAS members.
The New Orleans IAS ISA Liaison also
coordinates efforts with the New Orleans IAS chapter.
This coordination includes soliciting input from the
ISA on technical presentations and coordinating the
schedule to ensure both organizations do not provide
the same presentations during a year and to schedule
events that compliment each other in a time frame that
maximizes the benefit of the complimentary
presentations..The liaison will also coordinate 1
joint meeting per year with the ISA section when an
agreement is in place. The ISA Liaision is
responsible for updating the New Orleans IAS Chapter
on the ISA activities.
