What is GOLD?

GOLD stands for "Graduates of the Last Decade." If you are an IEEE member and you have graduated with a technology-based degree in the last 10 years, you are already a member of GOLD. GOLD is classified as an IEEE Affinity Group.

What is GOLD's purpose?

In short, that is up to the GOLD members. Albuquerque GOLD has drafted the following goals:

(1) To promote social contact between GOLD members outside the workplace

(2) To enrichment the Albuquerque community in matters of science and engineering

(3) To aid young electrical engineers in career development

(4) To promote electronics and electrical sciences among pre-college students

(5) To promote and nurture continued membership in IEEE after graduation

How do I get involved ?

The Albuquerque GOLD Affinity Group meets regularly at the end of each month at the Flying Star Cafe on Silver and 7th. See below left for latest updates. Come by and check us out. We are a likeable bunch.
