The Los Angeles Area Consultants Network (LAACN) is an Affinity Group of the IEEE Los Angeles Council (LAC) providing networking opportunities and support to Independent Consultants and Contractors. The territory of the LAC includes the following counties: Mono, Inyo, San Bernadino, Riverside, Kern, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles (except for Downey, Whittier, La Mirada, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Sante Fe Springs, Artesia, Cerritos, Avalon, Bellflower, and Paramount). Orange County and the portion of Los Angeles County not in LAC are served by the Orange County Consultants Network. The two networks work together to provide their membership with the following benefits:

- Source of Referrals for Consultants
- Contacts and Interaction at Local Monthly Meetings
