Written by Russell

I have just come back from the Region 6 spring meeting and I am excited to be a member of IEEE.  There are many great technical presentations going in with the ten chapters in Orange County.  I would encourage you to sign up for our email list to be notified of these events.  You can sign up here.

At the Region 6 meeting, many sections are looking to help members find jobs.  If you are looking for a new job or even looking to manage your career, I would recommend you visit the IEEE-USA web site.  They have a whole section dedicated to career and employment at the career website .  Some of the resources available are: a Job site for looking for jobs, a salary survey so you can check on your pay, career webinars you can view,   career planning guide, and so on.  I would suggest that you look at all of the quick links on the left and browse those items that are of interest to you.

If you have any questions or suggestions on how the Orange County Section can help you, feel free to contact me.
