I know you are in California so if someone was interested they would have to be willing to move to Massachusetts as that is where the position is.  This if for a Fuel Cell/Hydrogen company so they would need experience in that as well.  There is also the option of doing this job on a contract to permanent basis so someone wouldn't have to commit to moving out there initially and see if they like the job/area.  Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Engineering

Master's degree in Engineering preferred

Previous Work Experience

•           At least 5 years of professional experience working with UL, CSA agencies and/or CE mark regulatory bodies

•           Successful experience taking a product through certification marking of UL, CSA, or CE

Skills and Abilities

•           Self-starter, needing little direction and be able to implement business processes as they pertain to the compliance and product safety function

•           Strong written and oral communication skills

•           Competency in the use of Microsoft Office

•           Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities

•           High level of enthusiasm and commitment to teamwork

•           Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Desirable Skills and Abilities

•           Basic knowledge of fuel cell technology

•           Experience in authoring or editing technical manuals, policy statements or legal documents

•           Knowledge of hydrogen, fuel cell and industrial truck related codes and standards such as:  NFPA 2, NFPA 505, UL 2267, UL 583,  CSA FC1, ISO 16110, SAE J2601, CSA HGV 4.3

•           Experience working with local “Authority Having Jurisdiction” in construction permitting or firm understanding of standards development and standards application processes

•           Experience in codes and standards development (member or participant in standards development organization technical expert panel or committee)

Travel Required

5-15%  travel may be required.

EMC LAB TECHNICIAN

Qualified Candidates will have:

* AS Degree (transcripts required)
* 3 years' experience in EMC compliance testing of information technology as well as A/V equipment
* Knowledge of EN55022, 55024, CISPR 22 and CISPR 24 would be a plus
* Provide engineering support for EMC group
* Ability to read circuit schematics
* Assist with agency and regulatory approvals, both US and globally
* Routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and trouble-shooting of laboratory equipment and instruments.
* Develop, write, review, and validate test methods, laboratory SOPs, and other department level operating, EMC documents.
* Coordinate with 3rd party laboratory technicians and/or assistants on sample receiving, logging, preparation, testing and other tasks.
* Read, comprehend, and apply the requirements of test standards and SOPs to various types of products.
* Coordinate, and conduct multiple projects within tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
* Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
* Ability to work effectively in team situations as well as independently
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
