Phoenix Section Student Scholarships

Applications due: January 15, 2012
Awardees to be recognized at the Annual Banquet on February 11, 2012

The IEEE Phoenix Section awards Student Scholarships to full-time graduate and undergraduate students who are IEEE members in the following majors:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Computer Systems Engineering

  • Electrical Engineering Technology

  • Computer Engineering Technology

  • Computer Science

The applying student must attend a University in the Phoenix Section during 2011-2012. The universities include Arizona State University, Arizona State University Polytechnic, DeVry University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and Northern Arizona University.

The student should submit a completely filled Student Scholarship Application Form including

  • Financial Aid Statement

  • One-Page Personal Statement of Attainments, Interests and Goals

along with

  • Official Transcripts of all College Work

  • Recommendation Letters (optional, but helpful to selection committee)

The scholarships are awarded based on Academic Achievement, Financial Need, and Service to IEEE.
