The Four Kinds of Locks

This presentation covers a broad range of topics in order to give the security professional a basic understanding of locks in the workplace. This is essential when attempting to apply a holistic security model to the workplace and one's data. It will assess the differences between basic, commercial, high security, and nearly unpickable locks and proposes a security framework around these categories. An overview of the function of multiple types of locks is presented with a key focus on what may differentiate higher security systems from a more basic system. Additional concerns with large facilities are also discussed.
