The Richland IEEE PES Chapter has been selected as the winner of the 2010 IEEE Outstanding Chapter Award (Small Chapter).  The Richland PES Chapter competed with chapters from all over the world.  The award is based on the best overall set of programs and activities in serving a chapter membership. As part of winning the award, $1000 will be awarded to the chapter, as well as an invitation for the chapter chair to attend the IEEE PES General Meeting in Detroit this year.  This award marks the second time the Richland Chapter has won, with a previous award in 2006.
