PES Distinguished Lecturer Program, May 12, 2010

On Wednesday, May 12, 2010, the IEEE PES Richland Chapter hosted Dr. Edmund Schweitzer, III as part of the PES Distinguished Lecturer Program.  Dr. Schweitzer presented a talk entitled “Synchronized Control, Protection, and Operation of Electric Power Systems.”  Dr. Schweitzer presented materials from his vast experience, as well as where the world of advanced power systems relay and control is going.  The event was well attended with 35 people present: 30 IEEE members and 5 guests.  Click here for pictures of the event.
