Shirin Tabatabai is a member of the IEEE and has been actively serving as a volunteer on the IEEE-PES, SF Chapter ADCOM for the past five years. She has served as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice Chair, and for the last two years served as Chair of the ADCOM committee. Ms. Tabatabai currently works in the Operations group at Pacific Gas and Electric Company as a Supervising Power Systems Engineer. Prior to her employment with PG&E, she worked with the California Department of Water Resources. Ms. Tabatabai graduated from California Sacramento State University with a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering in December 2001 and an M.S. in Power Engineering in May 2005. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
