The 2007 SVEC
Tech Academy is expanding enrollment and offering a teacher development
program in its quest to improve students’ understanding of
engineering and technology and support their continued participation in
math and science. The Academy for Middle School returns in the summer
of 2007, and will include two new Advanced Academies for the students
completing the 2006 program.
* Summer Academy for Middle School
– 6th, 7th & 8th grade Santa Clara County students as of fall
2007 – Sessions start June 18, July 9, & July 30.
* Advanced Summer Academy I – for graduates of the 2006 program, students entering 7th and 8th grade – Session starts July 9.
* Advanced Summer Academy II
– for graduates of the 2006 program, entering 9th grade and for
new students entering 10th grade – Session starts July 30.
SVEC Tech Academy will also offer a Teacher Development Program for Middle School Math and Science Teachers. Sessions start June 18, July 9, & July 30.
