World's Finest Bipedal Heavy Vehicles
by Mr. Earle Bishop and Mr. Pete Koziar
November 08, 2007

Earle C. Bishop, III, is the founder and Project Coordinator of Mechanized Propulsion Systems. In 1999, Earle founded Mechanized Propulsion Systems to create the world’s first successful line of bipedal heavy vehicles. He commandeered MPS from a garage-bound idea to a serious and rapidly growing business with more than 20 employees and management staff. Largely of Mr. Bishop’s design, the company’s prototype vehicle has surpassed ninety percent for systemic completion, and an initial public offering of the company is expected between 2008 and 2010.

After a very successful presentation in November 2006, MPS, Inc. speakers return to provide us with an update of the progress made over the last year in the development of the company’s prototype vehicle Mark I Walking Platform. In general, MPS presentations act to inform those new to the concept of bipedal vehicles and to the company, to update those who have heard of MPS before, and to recruit individuals interested in becoming involved in the future of bipedal vehicle technology.

The concept of bipedal heavy vehicles and the markets they are intended to serve will be explained. The qualities of the MCF-1, MPS’ operational headquarters, and of the company’s rapid engineering process are discussed. Embedded electronics are featured in several forms in the Mark Series vehicles and these systems will be explained as well.

This presentation will also cover the self-organizing hierarchical neural network computers and their interactions with the vehicles’ internal communication network. This will be followed by a discussion of how and why bipedal vehicles will be not only viable but successful in a variety of markets. The speaking portion of the presentation will be capped by an explanation of how to become a part of MPS, Inc. After the speaking portion, the floor will be open for a questionand- answer session between the MPS Team and the audience.
