IEEE Utah Section Holiday Dinner, Friday, December 4, 2009

Hello Utah Section Members,

The Utah Section Executive Committee wishes you and your family a happy Holiday season and a New Year filled with prosperity and success. Please join us o celebrate the holidays at our Utah Section Holiday Dinner. The details of this
event are included below and reservations are required.

Friday, December 4, 2009
Dinner Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM,  Socializing at 5:30

Location: Utah Valley University Alumni House at 519 W. 1200 S. in Orem.  Please see map and directions below.

RESERVATION REQUIRED, Please RSVP by noon Wednesday, December 2.  This event will be limited to the first 50 people.

This will be a catered meal consisting of turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and various pies for desert.

You and your family are cordially invited to come join us for a Section Holiday Dinner. This Section Holiday Dinner is an opportunity to relax and unwind, catch up with friends, and meet some new friends.

Cost for IEEE members and families (after Section subsidy):
$5 - Member, Spouse/Date, Children over the age of 12
$2 - each for children 3-12 years old
$10 - each for those who are neither IEEE members nor immediate family.

 Congratualtions to West High FIRST Robotics team.  This is a major accomplishment with lots of resources expended by all participants.  Stayed tuned for more information on local FIRST Robotics teams in Utah.

The Utah Section has created a Linkedin group to improve our membership communication. If you do not have a LinkedIn account please consider creating one so that you can take advantage of the Linkedin Utah Section group features. 2010 IEEE International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Integration for Intelligent Systems (MFI 2010)

Please be advised that the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society will sponsor the conference entitled "2010 IEEE International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Integration for Intelligent Systems (MFI 2010)".  This conference will be held September 5-7, 2010.

Please note that IEEE MFI 2010 will not take place at Snowbird as originally intended.  The location of the conference will be: Fort Douglas, University of Utah, Salt Lake City.
