IEEE Night -- Term 8 Project Presentations

IEEE Night is the professional part of the MUN Electrical Engineering Term 8 project. The evening begins with three oral presentations which are selected based on the ENGR 8800 academic oral presentations held in March. These students compete on IEEE Night for the IEEE Newfoundland and Labrador Section Awards. Following the oral presentations, all students will demonstrate their projects to all interested visitors. This provides an opportunity to showcase the student projects to the local engineering community. At about 9:30 pm, the evening concludes with refreshments and the presentation of the awards. The evening is usually well attended by IEEE members from the local community, and the judging is done by IEEE members, generally from outside the university. Dr J.
