The Educational Activities of the IEEE Toronto Section
The Toronto Section offers a regular program of short courses, tutorials,
and workshops. Some of these are offered in conjunction with IEEE technical
societies or with neibouring sections. If you have suggestions regarding
future courses, please contact our Education Activities Chair using
the e-mail link on the executive page.
Mission
The IEEE Toronto Educational Activities Committee,
consistent with IEEE Vision, Mission, Rules, Regulations, and Bylaws, acts
for the benefit of IEEE members, of the engineering profession,
and of the public at large:
- Develops and provides continuing education material
- Assists all IEEE Toronto entities in matters related to continuing education
- Acts as a liaison with the IEEE Educational Activities Board, with
IEEE Canada Education Activities Committee, and with the Educational Activities
Committees of all other Canadian IEEE entities
- Acts as a liaison and collaborates with universities, colleges, and engineering institutions within the territory of the
Section on the subject of continuing education.

Most of these courses are still available on an ad-hoc basis, to be offered
both as public courses or in-house courses. Where a sufficient number
of course participants is available, all courses can be customized.
