IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section
Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two
years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who
volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the
IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their
invaluable contributions.

Anna Topol - Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group Membership Development Lead Anna Topol is an MSc candidate in Computer Science and Engineering
program at York University working under supervision of Dr. Michael
Jenkin. Her research interests are in computer vision and mobile
robotics. Currently Anna is focusing on registration of multiple
three-dimensional environment scans obtained with a stereo camera.
Anna holds a B.A.Sp.Hons. degree in Computer Science from York
University. Anna also has been actively involved as a volunteer for
several organizations striving to attract and retain more women in the
fields of Computer Science and Engineering since 2005.
