IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Ehsan Behboudi - Industry Applications Chapter Chair

Ehsan Behboudi, PEng, received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, Halifax Nova Scotia in 2003. He then joined Irving Tissue Corporation, manufacturers of Royale Tissue, in Toronto. In the duration of 2.5 years, Ehsan held various positions within the organization such as Maintenance engineer, Project engineer and Process engineer working with Electric drives and process automation. He then moved to Honeywell Aerospace as a System Engineer working on A380 airbus aircraft.  He is currently a Project Engineer at Eaton Corp.

Ehsan joined IEEE in fall of 2004 as the IAS chapter secretary, he was appointed as the IAS chapter Vice Chair in 2006 and now the Chapter chair. He is also the Vice-Chair of the Aerospace & Electronic Systems Society Chapter. Ehsan is currently a part time Masters Student at Ryerson University under the supervision of Dr.Bin Wu in the Laboratory for Electrical Drive Applications and Research (LEDAR). Ehsan is a registered professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
