IEEE Toronto Section - Executive

IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Dustin Dunwell, B.Sc, M.Sc. – Solid-State Circuits Chapter Chair

Dustin received his B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario in 2004 and 2006 respectively.  He is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in the electronics group at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Chan Carusone.

Dustin’s M.Sc. and Ph.D. research has been supported by NSERC grants and has focused on high speed integrated circuit design in CMOS technologies.  It has ranged from the modeling and optimization of passive devices, to the design of broadband transceiver circuit blocks suitable for multi-gigabit per second transmission over lossy channels.
