IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Danoush Hosseinzadeh - GOLD Affinity Group Chair

Danoush holds M.A.Sc. and B.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering.  Danoush is currently a Research Engineer at the Imaging Research Dept.in Sunnybrook Research Institute where his main responsibilities include managing and developing image processing algorithms for registration, segmentation and post processing of medical images. Danoush is also a Managing Partner at Khademi Consulting where he advises clients for developing custom image and signal processing applications mainly in the bio-medical field.

Danoush has served as treasurer of GOLD from 2006-2007 and was Vice Chair of GOLD from 2007-2009 before becoming Chair of the Toronto Section GOLD group in 2009. Among other roles within the IEEE, Danoush has also been on the Executive Committees of the IEEE TIC and IEEE ICME conferences held in Toronto in 2006 and 2009 respectively.
