The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. Emanuel Istrate, Student Member - Circuits & Devices Chapter Chair Emanuel received the Bachelor's of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto. He is currently a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. His research interests include photonic crystals and passive optic devices.
