IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

 

Sylvia Raynham - Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group Treasurer

Sylvia Raynham holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from University of Waterloo, co-op Computer Science option. She has over 30 years of Information Technology experience with CIBC & Bell Canada. She has worked with the mainframe as well as mid-range applications and believes in good work ethics by following industry standards and security measures. She is one of the recipients of the department quarterly Top Performer Awards from the CIBC Technology Solution department. She feels women play an important role in society including having a career or excel in engineering and science. She has been an IEEE member since 1997, and is the Women in Engineering Toronto Section treasurer since 2006
