IEEE Toronto Section Executive Committee Biographies
The operation of the IEEE Toronto Section is managed by the Section Executive committee, whose members are elected or appointed every two years. On each of these pages, we introduce a member of the committee who volunteers his or her time and energy to deliver the services that the IEEE Toronto Section provides. On your behalf, we recognize their invaluable contributions.

Visda Vokhshoori, SM IEEE - Public Relations Commitee Chair Visda Vokhshoori received her BSEE from State University of New York, and her MSEE from Columbia University, New York in 1998 and 2002 respectively. Visda joined IEEE as a student member in 1996 (elevated to member in 2002 and senior member in 2007) and has been actively involved with the organization ever since. In 2000 she founded the IEEE Hudson Valley WIE Affinity and served as its chair until she moved to Toronto, Canada in 2003. Visda is currently working as a Hardware Verification Engineer for IBM.
