Photo Awards presented at recent AGM   Former IEEE President and IEEE Canada Director Emeritus Wallace Stanley Read was on hand (from his home in St. John's, Newfoundland) to present the "W.S. Read Outstanding Service Award" to Miro Forest. Ed Lovrek received the "IEEE Toronto Section Chapter Chair of the Year".   Bill Kennedy presented the "Sustaining Friend of IEEE Regional Activities Award" to the University of Toronto, and Professor Emeritus Gordon Slemon accepted on behalf of the university.   Alagan Anpalagan, Alex Bot, and Pelle Westlind have been elected as IEEE Toronto Section Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary-Treasurer, respectively for 2006 and 2007.   Dr. Richard Marceau, UOIT Provost, spoke about the rapid development of this two-year old university in Whitby, Ontario.
