Multimedia Viewing Help Page
This Multimedia Presentation: A 13 minute program in two parts,
first - a series of historical slides grouped by decade and tracing the
development of electrical technology and the IEEE (initially the AIEE and IRE)
set to music representing each time period, and second - a sequence of short
video clips of IEEE volunteer leaders with comments to mark the occasion of
the IEEE Toronto Centennial. To view photographs taken at the Centennial
Banquet, use this link. This
presentation was created by Jeremy Littler of the Ryerson University Digital
Media Projects Office along with volunteers of the IEEE Toronto Section.
Viewing Requirements: Windows Media Player
(6.4+) or later is required to view this webcast. Windows
Media Player 9 is strongly recommended. Please note this stream
requires that the Windows Media Version 9 codec be installed on your
system.
To Solve Viewing Problems: If you are unable to view this video then please do the
following:
- Identify your Windows Media Player version (Help|About Windows Media
Player).
- Either upgrade your Windows Media Player to Version 9, or
- add Windows Media 9 Codec
Series support to your current player (must have a version 6.4 or
later player).
