News, Current Newsletter, Newsletter Archive
In mid-June, 2003, in conjunction with the launch of our newly designed
web site, we began the transition to an improved newsletter service.
Effective with the July issue, our electronic newsletter, The Monthly
Connection, is published every month on this web site. A short e-mail
alert message IEEE Toronto E-News is sent free of charge to members and
non-members alike. This e-mail message contains very brief summaries of most
major items and contains a link to the posted newsletter, so that you can
click-and-read if you so wish. If you know someone who would like to stay
informed about our meetings, seminars, courses, and other activities, please
advise him/her to subscribe to IEEE Toronto E-News. Additionally, once
each year, members of the IEEE Toronto Section receive a mailed copy of The
Annual Connection. The use of these names continues the long-standing
tradition of naming our section newsletter the "Connection".
Contributions
Contributions, text and/or photos, are very welcome - please send your
contributions - in any format convenient to you - in an email message (or as
an attachment) to me at this email
. Bob Alden, Editor
Subscribing
IEEE Toronto E-news is emailed using two separate lists. One is for all members of the IEEE Toronto Section
- extracted from the IEEE membership data base for each mailing - this
subscription is automatic. The second list is for anyone else -
members of other Sections, and those who are not members of IEEE,
are invited to subscribe. Please enter your email address in the box
below, click the "Subscribe" button, and click "Submit". If you are
not a member of the IEEE Toronto Section and have previously subscribed, you
can unsubscribe by checking the "Unsubscribe" button (this will only work
if you entered the same email address in the box below as the one you originally used to subscribe).
Please send an email message to the
if you have difficulties.
Members of the IEEE Toronto Section - please note... beginning with the
October issue, "IEEE Toronto E-News" is sent using the IEEE membership
database for the latest email addresses of members of the IEEE Toronto
Section. Use the link on our membership page to provide your email
address to IEEE if you have not previously done so, or to check if your current
email address is there, or to update it if needed.
