Egypt chapter is established in May 2008 as part of the founders effort to :

1. Transfer computational intelligence technologies  to Egypt.
2. To encourage and make it easy for the researchers to cooperate and increase their contribution in the area of computational intelligence.
3. Help investigating  the usage of  the computational intelligence expertise to address challenging real-life problems in different branches of science.
4. Disseminate the computational intelligence knowledge to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
